San Pa Ha Christian Church $7,500 Electric Upgrade Needed

2023 was a year of slow, but steady preparation for 2024 outreach.  We started in June making a futsal sized soccer field complete with lights and nets to keep the soccer balls from flying into the fishpond.  We had to wait four months for the sod to settle during rainy season.   In November we welcomed LTC graduate Nu and his wife and son to our outreach team alongside LTC graduate Tai.  Nu will over-see the evangelistic and outreach. Tai will oversee the cocoa orchard and youth activities.

The San Pa Ha community waited patiently for the futsal field to be ready.  In December we had the official opening with over 50 families from the community attending.  One of our members, Aun, who is a police officer, is lead coach with Tai  and Nu assisting.

We have set up volleyball, badminton, and speak takraw nets.  We have a tether ball court.  The church is excited about the opportunities to make relationships with the youth and their families.

Moving forward we have a major need.  The electrical system needs to be upgraded from    single phase to triple phase.  The electric wires are very old and the insulation is starting to get thin.  Electricity is “leaking out” so that by the time the cables reach the flood lights and water pumps the voltage is too low. This risk burning out pumps and flood lights on the futsal field.  This will also affect future expansion on the church property.

The cost of upgrading the system is going to be about $7,500.  Please prayerfully consider giving a little extra to help enhance the outreach programs in San Pa Ha community.
